About this day
Start your journey early from Gangtok and drive towards Zuluk, one of the beautiful mountain villages on Sikkim’s Old Silk Route. The road takes you through green hills, quiet villages and changing mountain landscapes. Reach Zuluk and spend time exploring this peaceful mountain village. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, beautiful surroundings and the famous winding roads of the Old Silk Route. If the weather and permit conditions allow, you can also stop at viewpoints along the route for Himalayan views. After exploring Zuluk, continue your journey towards Rongli, which becomes your exit point from the Old Silk Route. Enjoy the changing scenery as you drive down from the higher mountains towards Rongli. From Rongli, continue the drive back to Gangtok and end your day after experiencing a different and quieter side of East Sikkim.

Details your host needs
- Every traveller’s full name, date of birth and ID number — not just yours.
- ID accepted: passport, Voter ID or driving licence (not Aadhaar).
