Effective: 30 September 2026 · Version 1.0 · For affiliates
These terms explain how you earn money by sending travellers to Day Trio. Please read them before you agree.
This summary is here to help. If it differs from the numbered sections, the numbered sections apply.
Day Trio. These terms are an agreement between you and Day Trio ("Day Trio", "we", "us"). Day Trio is a business registered in India at Old Children Park Shopping Complex, Room 25, Tibet Road, Opposite Sardar Thana, Gangtok, Sikkim 737101, India.
What Day Trio is. Day Trio is a marketplace. The trips are created, run and fulfilled by the independent operators who list them. We call these operators "partners". In these terms, a "trip" means any day out, multi-day trip or ride listed on Day Trio.
What you do. You send travellers to Day Trio. You don't sell or run trips.
Our other policies. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. Where they differ from these terms about the affiliate programme, these terms apply.
Moving the agreement. We may move this agreement to another Day Trio business, for example one in another country. We will tell you first, and any shares you have earned move with it.
Who can join. Anyone can apply, including creators, bloggers, travel agents, drivers, guides and people who host travellers. You must:
Joining for a business. You confirm that you can agree to these terms for that business. If you run a business on your own (a sole trader or proprietor), you are personally responsible under these terms.
Review.
One account. Each person or business may have one affiliate account.
If our team adds you. Bookings count for you from the day we add you. We pay nothing until we have recorded that you agreed to these terms (section 16).
How we track it. When someone opens your link or scans your standee, their browser saves a small file (a cookie) for 30 days.
A booking counts for you when all of these are true:
The last affiliate wins.
A booking does not count when:
Our records decide. Our system decides which affiliate a booking belongs to at the moment the guest places it, and our records settle which bookings count. If you think something is wrong, tell us and we will check. We can't add bookings that our system didn't record.
Clicks. Your dashboard counts clicks and scans. Some of them may come from bots. Only bookings earn money.
QR standees. We may give you standees (small printed stands with a QR code).
These rules can change. These are today's tracking rules. We may change them, including the 30 days, with notice under section 12. A booking already credited to you keeps its credit.
Your share. For each booking that counts, you earn a % of Day Trio's commission on that booking, before GST or any other tax.
Your %.
Currency. Your share is worked out in the booking's currency and rounded to 2 decimal places.
No cost to the guest. The guest pays the same price with or without your link. Your share comes out of Day Trio's commission.
Example only. These numbers are made up to show how it works. They are not your %.
| What happens | Day Trio's commission before tax | Example % | Your share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guest books and pays | ₹1,000 | 25% | ₹250 |
| Before your share locks, the guest moves to a date where the commission is ₹1,200 | ₹1,200 | 25% | ₹300 |
| The trip goes ahead, and the guest later gets a quarter of their money back | — | — | ₹225 |
| The booking is cancelled or fully refunded instead | — | — | ₹0 |
Pending. Your share shows as pending once the guest has paid.
Locked. Your share locks and becomes available to pay out when all of these are true:
These are today's timings. We may change them with notice under section 12.
Date changes. If a paid booking moves to a new date before your share locks, we work your share out again. We use the same %, applied to Day Trio's new commission before tax, so your share can go up or down. Money the guest gets back because the new date is cheaper is not a refund for the rules below: the new price already sets your share.
Cancelled or reduced shares. Until we pay you, whether your share has locked or not:
After your share locks. A locked share no longer changes with dates or prices, but it can still be cancelled or reduced as above until we pay you.
After we pay you. A share we have paid does not change if the guest later gets part of their money back. We take it back only if, within 180 days of the share locking, the booking is:
If we take back a share we have already paid, we deduct it from your next payouts. If no payouts are due, we may ask you to repay it within 30 days.
Payment details. Once you are approved, add your payment details in your dashboard. We can't pay you until you do, but your balance waits for you.
What we ask for.
The country you live in. You choose it when you first save your payment details. It decides which details we ask for and how tax works. After that, only we can change it, so write to us (section 15).
Wrong details. If we pay the account you gave us and the details were wrong, we will help you try to recover the money, but we don't have to pay again. If the mistake was ours, or our team entered the details for you, we pay you again.
Currency.
When we pay. Once a month. We aim to pay by the 15th, and always by the end of the month, for shares locked by the end of the previous month. If you are GST-registered, we pay your share and the GST once we have your GST invoice.
Minimum payout.
How we pay. By bank transfer to the account in your payment details, or by another method you agree to in writing.
Your dashboard shows what is pending, what is available to pay out and what has been paid out. We send you a statement with each payout.
Checks. We may ask for proof of who you are. We can't pay a person or a country where the law doesn't allow it.
We pay your share in full. We don't deduct any tax from it.
Everyone. You are responsible for your own taxes where you live.
If you live in India.
If you live outside India.
Our own tax. Any tax we must pay ourselves because we pay you is our cost. It is never taken from your share.
Say that you earn a commission, every time. Do this in every post, video, story, blog, message, card or sign that carries your link or code.
Describe Day Trio correctly.
Be honest.
Local laws. Follow the advertising and consumer laws where you are and where your audience is.
Fixing posts. If we ask you to fix or remove something, do it within 48 hours.
If you break these rules, we may cancel the shares from the bookings involved, and pause or end your account (section 13).
Guests' data.
Your data.
Click records. When someone opens your link, we store a scrambled (hashed) form of their IP address and browser, not the raw values, together with the page they came from. We use this to count clicks and spot fraud, and we delete it after 12 months.
Leaving. You can leave at any time by emailing us.
Ending by us.
While you are paused.
When the agreement ends. Stop using your link, standees and our materials. Bookings placed before the end still earn under these terms and are paid when they lock.
Holding payments.
Law. Indian law governs these terms.
Disputes.
