Experience the spectacular landscapes of North Sikkim on a 3-day journey from Gangtok to Lachen and Gurudongmar Lake. Travel through winding mountain roads, deep valleys and remote Himalayan villages as you make your way deeper into the mountains. Begin your journey from Gangtok and drive towards Lachen, stopping at waterfalls along the way. Spend the night in Lachen and prepare for an early morning visit to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the most remarkable high-altitude destinations in North Sikkim. After the lake, return to Lachen for a second, quieter night in the mountains. On the final day, leave Lachen and travel back towards Gangtok through the scenic mountain roads of North Sikkim. This journey combines a remote mountain village, a sacred high-altitude lake and some of the most striking landscapes of Sikkim. Road conditions, weather and permits can affect the exact itinerary and access to high-altitude areas.
