About this day
Start the day at Char Dham in Namchi, a large pilgrimage site where you can see replicas of important Hindu temples and spend some quiet time in the peaceful surroundings. From here, continue towards Temi Tea Garden, one of Sikkim’s best known tea growing areas. Take a slow walk through the tea gardens, enjoy the mountain views and see the green hills where Sikkim tea is grown. The journey then continues to Ravangla, a quiet mountain town surrounded by forests and high mountain views. Visit Buddha Park and take some time to enjoy the calm atmosphere before beginning the journey back to Gangtok. The day is about seeing a different side of Sikkim- its faith, tea-growing tradition, mountain villages and peaceful landscapes, all in one journey.
