Leave Gangtok for Lachung, a mountain town in North Sikkim, and spend two nights there before returning to Gangtok. The main sightseeing day takes you from Lachung to Yumthang Valley, giving you time to explore one of the best-known valleys in North Sikkim before returning to Lachung for the night. On the third day, travel from Lachung back to Gangtok. The required permit for the route is handled by the operator.
