Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Medieval Newari Heritage

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Kathmandu Valley, about 13 km east of central Kathmandu. The square preserves an intact ensemble of palaces, temples, and courtyards built during the Malla dynasty, offering a rare glimpse into how this Newari trading city looked centuries ago.
